My Sister, Doris Saxon Veazey, and I have been researching our Saxon, Hammond, Jarvis, Machen, Lumpkin. Finney
and Harwell families for more than 20 years, and still have many things to look for.
We have run into many
"brick walls" in our search due to lack of good records in the earlier years, courthouses that lost records due
to fires, and various other things.
However, we never become discouraged, and continue to look here and there.
In the not to distant future I hope to include some of our findings as well as some of the places on the web we have found
that are most helpful.
