Andy Warhol said in the future we will all have our 15 minutes of fame.  I have lived a charmed life and had my 15 minutes more than once.

In 2002 I was fortunate enough to not only be nominated, but elected the Outstanding Older Worker in the State of Alabama for 2002.  It was truly an honor.  I was invited to attend the Experience Works Prime Time Awards.  Among the awards were for the Oldest worker who was Ray Crist of Pa. a mere 103 years young.

The biggest honor was meeting all the Congressmen and Senators, visiting Washington DC, I realized that it (Washington DC) belongs to us, the citizens of the US.  I was given an award at the event...but the biggest award was being able to not only attend, but to be a part of something so grandeur.
