Most Thursdays you can find me at the Depot or former Bank Bldg in Goodwater, where the Goodwater Rotary Club holds its weekly meeting.

I was honored by being asked to join the Rotarians in 1988 because I was the first female to be included.  I was nominated and elected as President of the Club in 2000.
Again I was very honored to serve.

Being a member of the Rotary is very rewarding in that we work on projects to help community efforts including a scholarship we offer to local students annually.

One of the Projects I was very proud of in my tenure was consturcting a memorial to Coosa County Veterans.  We did so with a plaque embedded in stone which stands near the Depot.
